Bitcoin has finally broken through the $107,000 level, and during today's Asian trading session, it surged rapidly to around $110,000, stopping just a step away from updating its all-time high. However, it remains to be seen whether that step will be taken and how challenging it will be. Ethereum strengthened nicely over the weekend, and today's Asian session delivered plenty of surprises.
Meanwhile, data shows that BlackRock's spot BTC ETF #IBIT has attracted $70 billion in less than a year—setting a record for the fastest inflow among all ETFs in history. This impressive capital influx indicates growing investor confidence in cryptocurrencies and their recognition as a legitimate asset class. Previously conservative institutional players, who traditionally avoided risky investments, are now actively entering the crypto space, fundamentally reshaping the financial market landscape. The success of IBIT not only highlights Bitcoin's appeal but also underscores BlackRock's effective strategy in creating a user-friendly, regulated vehicle for crypto investment. In essence, IBIT has become a gateway for traditional investors seeking exposure to Bitcoin without the need to own or store cryptocurrency directly.
The impact of this development on the crypto market is hard to overstate. The massive inflow of institutional capital supports Bitcoin's price growth and enhances its liquidity and stability. Furthermore, IBIT's success is encouraging other financial institutions to develop and launch their crypto products, leading to further market expansion and increased competition.
Notably, the fund reached this milestone five times faster than the former record-holder, #GLD—the largest gold ETF—which took 1,691 days to attract $70 billion.
Regarding intraday strategy in the crypto market, I'll continue to act based on any large dips in Bitcoin and Ethereum, anticipating the continuation of the medium-term bull market, which remains intact.
As for short-term trading, the strategy and conditions are outlined below:
Scenario #1: I will buy Bitcoin today at the entry point around $109,800, aiming for a rise to $111,700. Around $111,700, I plan to exit long positions and sell immediately on the rebound. Before buying on a breakout, ensure the 50-day moving average is below the current price and the Awesome Oscillator is in the zone above zero.
Scenario #2: Bitcoin can be bought from the lower boundary of $109,000 if there is no market reaction to a breakout, with a reversal back toward $109,900 and $111,700.
Scenario #1: I will sell Bitcoin today at the entry point around $109,000, aiming for a drop to $107,400. Around $107,400, I plan to exit shorts and buy immediately on the rebound. Before selling on a breakout, make sure the 50-day moving average is above the current price and the Awesome Oscillator is in the zone below zero.
Scenario #2: Bitcoin can be sold from the upper boundary of $109,900 if there is no market reaction to a breakout, with a reversal back toward $109,000 and $107,400.
Scenario #1: I will buy Ethereum today at the entry point around $2,686, aiming for a rise to $2,782. Around $2,782, I plan to exit long positions and sell immediately on the rebound. Before buying on a breakout, ensure the 50-day moving average is below the current price and the Awesome Oscillator is in the zone above zero.
Scenario #2: Ethereum can be bought from the lower boundary of $2,649 if there is no market reaction to a breakout, with a reversal back toward $2,686 and $2,782.
Scenario #1: I will sell Ethereum today at the entry point around $2,649, with the aim of dropping to $2,578. Around $2,578, I plan to exit shorts and buy immediately on the rebound. Before selling on a breakout, make sure the 50-day moving average is above the current price and the Awesome Oscillator is in the zone below zero.
Scenario #2: Ethereum can be sold from the upper boundary of $2,686 if there is no market reaction to a breakout, with a reversal back toward $2,649 and $2,578.
